The 1821 Whitelaw map shows a lot of detail - including
ferries and major roads in most parts of the state. There were
several "Whitealw" maps - three are included in this collection.
40 years later, a much more detailed map appeared
by engineer H.F. Walling. The 1860 map shows every
road in the state, and the locations of every house and
business.
