These maps are valuable today for their
charm and for the information they give such as the
locations of old roads, house sites and place names.
The first number in the map name is the year of the map.
The second number indicates the year of the print (many USGS maps were reprinted several times until they
were replaced by newer maps.)
These free maps are
"downsized" from 200 dpi images.
Higher quality 300 dpi
images can be purchased on this page as individual
prints or all together on a
DVD.
